As you may or may not be aware the University will have a slightly extended closure due to the Christmas Period.
The University will be closed from 1700GMT 17th December and will re-open on Tuesday 4th January 2021 at 0900 GMT.
I am aware that you have a final assignment submission due on the 20th of December 2021. If you anticipate that you may need an extension please try to submit this request either to your online tutor for a 48-hour extension, or by submitting an NEC for anything beyond 48 hours, before 17th December 2021.
Please note: Typical turn-around for NECs is up to 5 working days but can be longer during busy periods. It is your responsibility to ensure you allow enough time for a decision to be returned to you. You should not assume the NEC or Extension is upheld whist you are awaiting a decision. If you submit a request without providing enough time or after 17th December, a decision will not be returned to you until after the University reopens on 4th January 2022.
The Student Support Team will be available as follows during this time:
- Until 1600 GMT Thursday 23rd December – Usual office hours apply
- Friday 24th December-No Service
- Monday 27th December – No Service
- Tuesday 28th December-- No Service
- Wednesday 29th to Friday 31st December– Usual office hours apply
- Monday 3rd January – No Service
- Tuesday 4th January- Usual office hours resume
